Terms & Conditions

In booking any of our classes or demonstrations you agree to abide by our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the cookery days without notice.


All payment should be made in full at the time of booking; we do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on the course until we receive full payment. On receipt of payment we will send confirmation and the necessary course information. Credit card payments will have a surcharge of 2% added. No surcharge for Debit cards. Please inform us at time of booking of anything, which may affect your participation, or enjoyment of the course, eg, food allergies.

Property and Person

We shall not be under any liability whatsoever for any loss, injury or damage to individuals attending classes or demonstrations, or their property, whether in respect of any neglect or act of omission by The Arches Cookery School, their employees or visiting chefs.

Health and Safety

Everyone attending The Arches Cookery School must take note of the instructions our demonstrators and teachers give as this will help prevent accidents occurring and we advise practical clothing and flat, closed toe non-slip footwear is worn, Aprons will be provided for the hands on classes. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building.

Fees and Dates

Classes and demonstrations are quoted at the time going to print. We reserve the right to make alterations as and where necessary or relevant, we will notify people concerned as soon as possible of any change.


Should you have to cancel your confirmed booking with less than one months notice you will be liable for full payment of the course fees, unless you or we find a suitable alternative booking, If you are unable to attend you are welcome to send someone in your place even at very short notice, However you must notify us in advance if you wish to do this. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel we will refund your payment.
