Green Bond

Caring For

The National Park

As farmers we understand the very close relationship between people and landscape. This intimate connection is even more special in National Parks where the land is protected for us all to use and enjoy, now and in the future. Arches Cookery School is located next to Grinkle Farm within the North York Moors National Park.

To offset the environmental impact of our travelling guests we are committed to planting 10 metres of new hedge for every 20 people who visit us. This approach is even better than planting new trees and will help to conserve our local bird and other animals population, it will also encourage rare hedgerow plants and flowers to flourish.

We call this our Green Bond. It will help us protect and preserve this exceptional environment for future generations. Ask us about the Green Bond when you visit and we can take a short walk to the plantation
